Why I Built This
As a blogger myself, I know how time-consuming it is to repurpose blog content for social media. You write a great article, but then you need to:
- Condense it for social media
- Add platform-specific formatting
- Generate hashtags
- Find or create images
- Repeat for each platform
This tool automates all of that, saving hours of work while maintaining quality and engagement.

- Get Your API Key: Sign up at DeepSeek for a free AI API key
- Enter Your Blog URL: Paste the link to your blog post
- Choose Your Platform: Select Instagram, Facebook, or Pinterest
- Generate: Click the button and get your optimized content in seconds!
- Copy & Post: Use the copy buttons to grab your content and paste it directly into your social media platforms
Technical Details
For the tech-curious, here’s what powers this tool:
- Backend: Python Flask API with BeautifulSoup for content extraction
- AI: DeepSeek API for content generation
- Frontend: Vanilla JavaScript with a clean, responsive UI
- Hosting: Backend runs on my private server, frontend is hosted here on my blog
The backend API runs on my own infrastructure with Cloudflare Tunnel providing secure access, while the frontend is a simple static HTML page that works on any shared hosting.
Open Source
This project will be open-sourced soon on GitHub. I believe in giving back to the developer community and hope this tool helps other content creators streamline their workflow.
